Hi potential applicants, and welcome to the <Tempered> guildhall.
Thanks for taking the effort to come this far - below is a small indication of what we're about and what we like.
If you're interested in sticking an application into us, you can do so by creating an account on the forums, and making a post on the application forums. Someone from the guild will be in touch with you in game after that stage.
<Tempered> is a member-oriented raiding guild, aimed at
experiencing (and beating) the endgame encounters in a
community-friendly manner. We don't raid every moment we're online, we
don't force people to be some spec that they're not happy in, we don't
min-max ourselves to death. We do operate as a close-knit team, we do
take casual-raiding seriously, and we do have attainable short-term and
long-term goals involving every instance in the game.
We *have* been around a while, having raiding experience as a group for
over three years in one form or the other. No, you don't see us spamming the
"progression charts" - mainly because that's not our focus.
-
Do you relish the challenge of being the *real* barrier between your
colleagues and the large bad guys wanting to munch on their tasty bits?
- Do you think you can keep the world's most suicidal dps warrior
vertical, despite his best efforts?
- Are you so infused with the Force
of Light/Spirits of Nature/Gods of Bandages that whole raids feel
better just by being near you, basking in the radiance that transudes
from your very being?
- Are your weapons natural extensions of your arms and body, honed to a razor edge by the stone of experience?
- Is your power over the mystic arts enough to kick out some major hurt, while conjuring two portals, and feeding the entire eastern kingdoms with muffins at the same time?
- Most importantly, have you the same aims and
goals as <Tempered> and are looking for somewhere to make them
work?
Then maybe, just maybe this is for you.
Raiding times are currently Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings until 0:00 server time - invites happen at 2030.
Successful applicants will:
- understand that they are applying for a particular role, and thus enjoy
the challenge of focusing on this role.
- be aware of the scheduled raid times, and be generally available for those times.
- have some raiding experience.
- be mature enough to take constructive criticism and advice on
occasion, and to respect the aims, goals and feelings of other members.
- have genuine reasons for wanting to be part of <Tempered> over
other Guilds. <Tempered> is, and will remain a relatively small,
compact group of people.
Thank you for your patience, and I look forward to speaking with some of you.
<Tempered> - Play it your way.
