Let's face it. The weather in Freya's garden is much nicer than the frigid environment of Hodir's cave. You can almost understand people being reluctant to venture in there when they can chill out in the garden instead.
Nevertheless, the lure of a fun encounter proved to be enough, and the people did rejoice and did feast upon the lambs and toads and tree-sloths and fruit-bats and orangutans and breakfast cereals ...
